★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 40 minutes for our order just to be told they "lost the docket" when I checked on wait times. Can't be true as we received the iced coffee. Walked out with a refund and they did not seem apologetic or to care at all.
Terrible music, dirty tables too. Go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy little cafe in the heart of Matamata . A great selection of sandwiches and pies and scones/muffins . My coffee was bitter so I've only rated it 4 stars . The staff were friendly and approachable . An excellent breakfast and lunch menu at reasonable prices . Kids meals were the usual suspects. Pancakes, Chicken Nuggets and Scrambled eggs .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the cooked breakfast with coffees and both were awesome. Really good food and the service was good too. The tables and highchairs got constantly cleaned while we were there, so a well deserved 5stars. Thank you

I thought it would be 16- 18 minutes but more than half an hour went by and I thought they straight up forgot about us. But it was still good anyway. And the service was.... cold... unwelcoming, as if we were bothering the girl behind the counter just by placing our orders. ?
