★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never been here before and was very pleasantly surprised . Waharoa is a very small ex dairy factory town but is getting a reputation of a 'must stop"due to the small number of very good cafes , this being just one of them but probably the best .
Great ambience ,very clean and tidy, big food selection all freshly cooked for you -very little pre packed available - and a great coffee. My wife's cup of tea was not far from a 'high tea' experience which was not expected I have to say.
Excellent friendly staff.
Very well done Griddle Earth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely Cuppaccino with cinnamon which the owner remembered l made it just in time to get something to eat also and take something away for Matamata Market tomorrow.
Very welcoming and I love stopping of here once a month.
Really lovely hot food also to eat in or takeaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful food and nice service. I didn't realize the LOTR reference until after the fact. For a healthy lunch option, I recommend the hot chicken sandwich and add a side salad. Prices here are 13-17 for lunch.
