About Sweet Painted Lady Cafe
The Sweet Painted Lady Cafe was born in 2012, when Neville Jacques saw an opportunity to bring home baked, good old Kiwi food back into our community- in the small town of Waharoa.
At the Sweet Painted Lady Cafe, we are proud of the food we produce. Since day one, our sandwiches have been extremely popular- the point of difference is that we roast all of the meat (beef, corned beef, and chicken) for the sammies on-site, meaning fresh and quality every time.
We are also well known for our home made donuts, and the fact we are locally owned and operated.
We don't use ANY pre-mixes in our baking- everything is made from scratch and we have no excuses for using a lot of butter!
Recently we have introduced a new menu, and extended the kitchen so are able to cater for functions with the use of our new facility.

It was unfortunate to have such dull customer service to the point of wondering if the person liked their job. The food was overpriced and sadly didn't deliver. The food was tasty enough to eat but the overall experience left me not wanting to come back.
