β β β β β If you want good, quick and filling soul food come to the empress of India. Such amazing smells and tastes. Great for a quick lunch with linch meal deals.
In a easy to get to spot near a while tange of y if you had others not interested on Indian food. Would recommend

The food was delicious; however I would like to comment / feedback on the Lamb Vindaloo dish.
The curry/gravy was tasty however the lamb pieces on taste was like very old meat that was used, there was no flavor and it was not well marinated, there was absolutely no taste to the meat which was just breaking into pieces. Kindly look into this dish and improvise. Thanks

β β β β β Long time goers, not anymore. We were charged in store after ordering over the phone & going off the online prices. I called them up afterwards saying we have been heavily over charged, and the response was: There are new owners who have brought up the prices.
I asked, 'Have you changed the prices online then before charging customers?' and the worker responded, 'No, not yet".
Just in case they still haven't updated, they are now:
$15 Reg Chicken Madras
$7 Samosa
$20 Chicken Korma
Beyond disappointing with false adverting and not fully disclosing their price increase. Now, I understand COVID has created difficulty with businesses raising their prices, however, at the end of the day, it was false adverting online.
They didn't try or want to fix the situation, just accepted we will no longer be customers. Very upsetting when our friends & family buy from them so often, that our outer circle will also discontinue their visits.
The curries were fine, but please also note the rice portions have shrunk as well. You now share only 1 portion of rice between 2 curries. The rice portions are also smaller.
You're paying restaurant prices for takeaway food.
So many changes, no transparency or warning, and not trying to fix their wrong - beyond disappointing.

β β β β β Been coming here for years!!! But no more. New owners have increased prices and decreased the taste of food. BRING THE OLD CHEF BACK!!!! This is now our 5th time trying just to make sure that they werenβt just having a bad day BUT no. No good AVOID!!

β β β β β New owner has downgraded the resturant. Prices are way high as compared to the quality and quantity given by them now. The food is tasteless and bad quality and is not good to eat. For me old chef was the best who cooked awesome food and I was his permanent customer of veg food. But since he sold the business, the new owner has degraded the name and good will of the business, shop and brand name.
