cars provided vary widely, at competitive rates. But the service must be accelerated again, I wasted a long time in this place. The staff there are friendly and helpful enough. The place is also easy to find even though I first got to this place. The car I rent quality is very satisfactory

Amazing service and fairness from this co when dealing with an incident where somebody ran into the back of me, they could see it wasn’t my fault but that doesn’t always mean much to rental Co’s. Will definitely just rent from these guys now they earned the loyalty ?

Bunch of thieves.. I won’t let it go easily. I am waiting for consumer protection to get this issue sorted. Do not use this company they have a lot of hidden costs and tried making me pay at $900 on pick up.

I called Europcar’s phone line to make a booking for a seven seater vehicle to pick up the next day in Auckland CBD. I received an email confirmation but I also called again in the morning to make sure the car was there for me. When I arrived at the pick up point the staff rudely told me they did not have the car and I needed to pre-book. I thought that’s what I did. They had nothing to offer me and were not very helpful.

Some lady named Diana recently told me that Mary from Europcar was incompetent as an employee and all the reasons why nobody should use this company anymore. I was shocked by the evidence she showed me. They clearly do not value their customers. Won't be using this company at all.

Very unhappy with the service provided by the company. My booking was scheduled and confirmed for March 25th at 4:30 PM; upon arrival (I was even a little early), I found the branch being closed with nobody present at the office. After scrambling for 30 minutes and eventually managing to call the branch manager (who was on leave that day), to whom I had to email my booking details, he finally was able to assist, and I picked up the vehicle almost an hour later than I was supposed to. The branch manager was apologetic and understood the issue at hand (his employee claimed that they tried getting in touch with me prior to locking up and leaving for the weekend, and I did not respond - which is a lie, as I did not receive any phone calls nor I received any emails. The branch manager had given me a small discount as more of a gesture of goodwill, which I was happy about (the acknowledgement of them being wrong was more important than the discount). A few days later, I returned the car. The employee who was at the branch did not even apologise for the faux pas on their part (she'd asked me if everything was okay? to which I said that the car was great, but the pickup experience was rather bad); her reaction was: "ahh, okay". Then several days later, I checked my credit card balance and realised that they'd reverted the discounted amount (as it was pending) and instead charged me the original amount. I was puzzled, so I decided to contact them, which turned into an absolute nightmare. So over ten emails later, I was told that the employee thought my pick up time was 4 PM, and therefore I didn't show up, and they left (i have my booking confirmation that says "Pick up: 4:30 PM"). Multiple people have emailed me, including employees from Australia and even an Operations Field Manager located in Mangere - and not a single one has apologised for the way the situation unfolded and has been dealt with (except for the branch manager who has been out of it). I'm disappointed, to say the least. I'm a returning customer, and I even have future bookings with the company. However, I will be cancelling those and will never look at getting any form of service from Europcar. Anyone looking for a car rental in Auckland, don't bother - the cars are in good condition (only because they are new), but the service is abysmal. Better off going elsewhere.

The worst rip off of my life! I wanted to change my booking on spot - actually to lower the number of rental days from 7 to 4 - the price went up from 480 to 980 - the most RIDICULOUS pricing policy ever. The lady at the counter was nice but I will never book with this company again
