★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service from these guys, friendly and prompt. We hired trucks on a couple of days to move house - the trucks were clean, tidy and easy to maneuver. The taillifts and reversing cameras definitely make it easier.

Used a cargo van from them, initially only wanted it for 2 days hire and at no point during the booking process was notification of them charging $0.44c/km extra on top of daily rate for any distance over 200km! (Yes I read through the T's and C's before paying). The guy at reception only told me about it AS I WAS GETTING IN THE VAN, when I asked the (dis-interested) manager about it he told me if I did 3 days rental, I would get unlimited kms free on cargo vans, So I added a day to my rental and was still charged $190 for the kms one week after I returned the van ! I had to go in to the branch to sort it out, clearly a scam to charge tourists once they leave the country, after returning a vehicle so they can't come back to ask about it! won't use them again! Save your $$ go elsewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired a high top cargo van from USAVE last Sunday. The online booking process went smoothly. We were warmly greeted by Sharnie when we collected the vehicle. Her attention to COVID19 requirements was very good. We achieved the result we were hoping for. Upon returning the vehicle, Sharnie was once again very friendly and helpful. We will certainly use USAVE Parnell again when the need arises. Well done Sharnie, you represented USAVE as a very good and enthusiastic young lady. Review written by John.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a uSave vehicle and parked it overnight outside our house. I received a parking ticket because the vehicle didn't have a 'rearward facing lamp'. Never knew such an infringement existed... Bought it up with uSave management and they said they would challenge it if I was unsuccessful. I was unsuccessful so passed the batten on to them. 1 month later, with no feedback from uSave, a $50 admin fee was deducted from my credit card by uSave and refused to acknowledged that their vehicle wasn't up to standard. Further they simply forward me the infringement to pay.
If your using this company, DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE on the vehicle your renting otherwise you'll be stitched up like in was ($150 for the fine and $50 for uSave admin fee for them to tell me I had a fine because their vehicle wasn't up to standard)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would never use this company again!! Horrific and misleading communication, stupidly expensive for ‘“USave”.. you will save nothing but spare time and any reality of a stressless trip. I could literally see the fuel needle dropping as I drove well under 100km/h, because the truck tried to shake itself apart going anything close to the speed limit.. unbelievably noisy and sounded like a struggling tractor. I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful.. 10/10 would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience with USAVE... I will NEVER use them again. They double booked their trucks so they upgraded me to the next size up, unfortunately they changed me for the upgrade then argued when I questioned being over charged... Their website showed $129 per day but they charged $215 per day then told me their prices "fluctuate" depending on demand... I dropped the truck off after hours and couldn't find the lock box so I locked the truck up and left the key in the glove box assuming they would have a spare key... However I over estimated USAVE... It turns out they don't even have spare keys to their own vehicles. They were argumentative and defensive... VERY POOR SERVICE... NEVER AGAIN

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big ups to the team at USAVE car and truck rentals. I hired a moving truck for the weekend and the day before, USAVE were unable to make the truck available but recovered the situation magnificently, getting me a truck the following day and adding in some helpful extras like blankets etc for the move. Then when I left my airpods behind in the cab after a long day of moving apartments, they went the extra mile to get my pods back. Overall the process was smooth and the staff friendly and helpful. I booked a box body truck of 10-11m cubed and this was ideal for a small size move, and easy to drive and park even in Auckland traffic! thanks team
