Always a good experience here. Great covid protocol set up and always an easy time getting a car. Also tend to have great prices. 10/10 would rent again.

This hasn't been a good experience. They dont return calls or answer emails. I would never use them again based on my experience with Snap Rentals The Strand, Parnell.

Snap Rentals provided a great service at a very good price. Easy to deal with online, over the phone and in person. The car was clean, tidy, reliable and in great condition, a hybrid so cheap on petrol running costs. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. Shuttle transfer from and to the airport convenient and fast. Would highly recommend to others.

They don't answer emails to change or cancel your reservation despite what it says on the website faq. They got upset I tried to pick up the car 20 minutes early than what was on the reservation and they didn't seem to care when I asked why they don't read their emails as I had asked for snow chains and it wasn't included. They only offered to call the other snap locations to ask about chains when I threatened to cancel the reservation and walk away. I should have read the negative reviews from before about them not reading their emails

Most disappointing car rental I've ever had. Don't waste your time with the mystery car, just like a kid when I got mystery prizes, I re-lived my disappointment as an adult when they gave us the cheapest and most disappointing junk. Additionally, if you want to pay by EFTPOS you are punished (for what, not having a credit card as I don't spend more money than I have? Isn't that something good???) by having to pay more. But they won't tell you that until you've committed. Car has horrendous alignment, and, not that looks are anything to go by, but I guess I should be grateful it drives. Fingers crossed we finish our holiday without any "unexpected breakdowns" ?. I recommend a different company, but feel free to give this company a try if you are feeling risquΓ©...

Friendly, helpful, understanding staff! Will use the service again! We rented Toyota Yaris that was a little bit older and rustier than what you usually get in rental services, but the price was great. Importantly, the car a) drove well, b) was clean inside and c) smelled nice and fresh inside. Thank you!

I found the team Snap Rentals working on the weekend I have collected my car at Auckland’s Center location very professional and friendly. I felt like I know them for ages and everting went super-fast and smooth. I am almost suture I will have the same experience on the return (I still have a few days to drive before returning the car)

Been booking with these guys for a few times now and always had a good experience until recently when I was sent a voucher to use on my next purchase but given no option to enter that voucher and claim it while making payment on their website. When asked to redeem the voucher upon pickup, I was told I will be refunded $20 into my account as my payment was already gone through. 3 days later the refund still Hadn't arrived and I decided to ask them about it while dropping off the car. The lady at the reception wouldn't even let me finish my concerns before cutting me off to tell me that its not possible and I have to use it next time. I showed her the receipt I got at pickup to prove that it had mentioned $20 that I should be refunded but she refused to listen again and treated us so rudely trying to make annoyed faces and what not. It's not about the $20 but at least learn to treat your customers better please
