★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noone at reception when we arrived. Sign said ring 0800# so I did, but not registered on network was the reply. Intercom was broken too. Toilets only flushed on full, so no water savings at this camp. Went back for change to use washer, again had to find someone as reception all locked up. Camp pretty empty, 1 very small clothes line and 2 dryers, one out of order. Given 250mb of data. (Other camps, not Top 10 give unlimited). Elements in kitchen, only one worked. Glad they weren't too busy else we'd of had to stand in line to cook bkfst. Spa was also out of action. Top 2. Not Top 10. Wouldn't stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a clean facility and really well laid out grounds . We had the family room with kitchenette and shared ablution blocks - everything worked as it should, super clean and the playground for the kids is pretty cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing compared to the other top 10 holiday parks we stayed on the West Coast. Also more expensive as there are no non-powered sites. Be gone before 10am otherwise someone will come remind you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was extremely unfriendly. It was a rainy day. We are bike packing, we cleared the tent site and had finished using the facilities but sheltered on an empty porch to pack our wet gear back onto our bikes. We had been told that that was ok at first but were then told in no uncertain terms to leave as it was after 10 and we would be charged another night if we didn’t. We were doing no harm, using nothing and holding no one up - literally just packing our bags under the shelter of a roof in an otherwise empty campground. Won’t be staying there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was dated. Musty smelling had a damp feel, which meant with the warm weather the room was extremely humid.
I dont think sheets had been changed recently as there were funny little black things on them.
Venetian blinds were barely functional. I had to hang a towel over the door to ensure privacy from others staying there.
Weeds were growing wild in places. It was a very unloved and extremely overpriced room.
Oh almost forgot. I was 8 minutes early for check in and got told I had to wait.
I would look for a local motel/hotel over this Top 10 Holiday park...because it really was not worth the cost. A 1 star rating is generous in my thinking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Craig and Stacey were awesome accommodating us on our trip back up the South Island. They upgraded our accommodation when we had a minor problem to a cabin which was lovely, clean and tidy. Thanks so much and will see you next year on our yearly travels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular user or TOP 10 Holiday Parks, however this one is at the lower end of the scale. . The 2 bedroom motel was spacious , but unfortunately was not very clean. Filthy stove in kitchen, food wrapper left by a previous guests under one of the beds , lots of cob webs and dust everywhere. However on a plus note nice comfortable beds .
