Always get crumbed fish, huge fillets and cooked to perfection. Great chips with it to. Introduced friend from Matua. They now drive over once a week for their fish n chips. That good!!!

Edit: Changed the review since new owners. Gave it a 3 chances. Would not recommend. Bit of a shame. Been buying fish and chips from here for 10 years ?

β β β β β Fresh & moist fish with just a little bit of batter which was crispy & not stodgy. Chips were fresh cooked. No 10 pack of 2 fish, 2 hotdogs & chips for $14, enough for 2 people!! Prompt service. Shop & support local for great value & service. Definitely recommend.

β β β β β Ordered over phone was advised 25 to 30 minutes. Waited over 1 hour and 20 minutes like everyone else did. Even though they told everyone 25 to 30 minutes. Charged surcharge for efptos. Cooked all the food in the same fryer including the hotdogs and fish I'm the same fryer. Very low quality of food hygiene, dirty everywhere and used same tongs for eveything. To top it off they dont care at all about covid saftey. Would not recommend!.

We got 3 fish (snapper) great size and nice batter perfectly cooked. Chips are crispy and the pineapple fritters are fantastic!!
Service with a smile. Love this place ?

This is 1 and a half scoops of chips, hoki and hot dog (requested no sauce)
Been going for years and always been good.
Had 2 donuts as well came to $15.10

β β β β β I've been coming here for over 10 years... This food here rocks. Service sucks but who cares? It's fish and chips. The chips are always crispy. Can't go wrong with this place.
