★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst gong cha experience ever 0/10. Found something that looked like spit in my drink... there was a bit of spinach and sesame. Extremely disgusting. Will be going for Hulu Cat next door instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 45 minutes for our drinks, more than double the estimated wait time. Also very poor systems in place to facilitate level 3 social distancing. Waited till they had 10 different orders finished before they started handing them out, and the guy wasn't wearing a mask...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular customer of Gong cha, and when they opening in Rosedale I am so happy because I live close by. Usually the service is really terrible, the male staff always shows attitude and sometimes even have baby in the store. Especially recently, the service is slower than usual and the male staff even yelling in the sotre and not wearing mask. But I love Gong cha so I will still buy. I went to the store this weekend and the service is a lot better, their new staff are much faster and kinder than the male staff. Hope they will continue to have nicer staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The drinks were fine but we got it delivered and they forgot our staws....how are we supposed to drink them? I don't understand how you can deliver 5 drinks with toppings and expect us to drink it without straws. We called back but they told us to order more drinks to get the straws...we don't need more drinks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 1 drink. Around 9 people came into the store after I ordered. When 4 of those people received their drink before me, I told the person at the counter that I hadn't received my drink. They told me they were making it, so I sat and waited more. They asked me to come to the counter and confirm my order. I then waited till all 9 people that came after me were served and I could see the workers start cleaning up, no signs of making my order. They then saw me and called me to the counter again to confirm my order, asking repeatedly the name of the drink. Afterwards I was handed the wrong size order which was missing the toppings. I let them know I was missing toppings and the woman asked me why I had a bigger size... I told them I ordered a regular and this is what I was given. Although I received apologies from the 1 person who mixed up my order, I think it took far too long for the workers to try and correct their order mix up, making me wait around 30 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The strawberry/ Crème Brûlée series at GONGCHA is so good! Was served by a nice guy here. He was very friendly! I don’t know who he was, but he is probably my favourite GONGCHA barista in New Zealand. He clarified with the order, had lots of patience, seems very approachable and friendly, and it was great. I got the honey strawberry green tea. It was so good. I actually never had a negative experience at Gongcha Rosedale considering I only been here twice. The serving time was a bit slower compared to Takapuna, but I actually like it. I don’t like my drinks made too quickly. I want it made with some love. He was just so calm!
