★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the phish burger was awful, the bread stale and the 'phish' mushy, who wants hots lettuce. gross. the meal was 38.5$ not to brag, well not me the 'boss man'on shift repeated it loud enough to his colleague, while I am in ear shot, a celebration of sort that was unproffessional, the order apparently being worthwhile, although his apparent feelings hardly translated into my experience. 1/5 and if I could offer less than that, I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favorite vegan carry out in Auckland!
They have a large variety of options on their menu including burgers, hot dogs, tacos, corn dogs, breakfast sandwiches and hash browns, vegan ice cream and shakes, vegan chicken and fish, and, of course, four options for fries (including sweet potato fries) and their multiple famous sauces. There are 3 sizes available for fries, too, depending on how hungry you are.
We loved our shoestring fries with the French Canadian sauce! It was like a vegan poutine!
I had a Chicago hot dog, that was very delicious, and my wife had the vegan fish sandwich, which was crispy and tasty.
The service was prompt and friendly. Everything is made to order, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for our meal, but it was worth it since everything was hot and delicious!
They have very reasonable prices, too.
They have a few outdoor seats on the sidewalk, but plenty of covered indoor seating in the adjacent Snickel Lane food court area.
Just be sure not to miss a great vegan meal at this place when you are in downtown Auckland!

We ordered the Chicago Dog, Fries, and mac&cheese balls. Hotdog wasn’t bad - ingredients tasted really fresh and it was yummy enough. The fries were unmemorable and all round just meh… a lil soggy, limp and greasy. (We also ate them while they were still hot, so we gave them a fighting chance). Finally the mac&cheese balls (and the reason for this review tbh) were disgusting. I’m not sure if they had been in the fridge/freezer for ages, or if the oil they were fried in was old, but they tasted horrible. They didn’t give me food poisoning or anything, but I honestly wouldn’t have been surprised if they had. Only ate 2 and chucked the rest.
That Chicago Dog really pulling the review out of 1 star territory… all-in-all very average, and I’d give it a miss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware if its your first time trying - this is a VEGETARIAN restaurant although none of their signage and menu offerings explicitly states that. I was duped into ordering spicy 'chicken wings' only to be in for a rude surprise after taking a bite. I've nothing against vegans but what I despise is getting tricked into ordering artificially flavoured tofu masquerading as buffalo wings. Also, shoestring fries were mediocre at best.

The Parma burger's got a good texture and they aced the fries

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lord of the fries couldn’t make decent fries if their lives depended on it…. Soggy and sad. We as Belgians know how to make great fries and so we’re excited to accidentally discover this nook. Very disappointed. Didn’t know it was a vegan outlet but gave their burgers a go too, not bad but nothing to write home about either. Overall experience below average.

Always a fan of the classic or chunky fries here. Burgers are out of this world. Open for business during covid alert level 3 to my delight.
