★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value for money. Very unique space! Old school station, very old. Honestly a little bit creepy at times but our room felt safe. Bathroom was clean and quite new and comfy bed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here 3 nights all up. The first room had the first 2 nights was nice but the last night 2nd time stayed was much nicer. Big long room. Great shower and spacious. Comfy bed. Good facilities. Bar fridge also. Fizz etc. Only thing is was noisy 2nd time stayed with people and trains. Altho they finish around midnight. And back about 6am. Friendly staff. Good location

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are decent for short stay. If you can pay a bit more, I suggest book somewhere else. The place looks dodgy. Beware of the charges after your stay, they won’t tell you that they charge you of something unless you check your account. Definitely wont be coming back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was very large, clean and safe. Comfortable and quiet. Shower head was unpredictable, almost flooded the bathroom out as pressure was to strong for the fixture. Such a good idea to make an old memorable building into accomodation. Only stayed one night with my group, we all were happy with our rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You’d think with a historical building they’d take care of it it has so much value but a Big NO. So disappointing. When I moved into my apartment I had to scrub the window sills, bathroom and vacuum the floor when I moved out they charged me money to get the floors professionally cleaned what a joke!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The architecture of this building is beautiful but a large number of rooms are also being used as emergency housing and there were many dodgy characters around shouting at the receptionist and each other. The receptionist is behind trellis which will pretty much tell you what you need to know. I would advice very strongly against staying here.

I have never stayed here but was very close to booking that was until I read that you want $350 damage cover. that's $100 more then the room. not many people can afford to holiday in Auckland and asking people to pay $350 to cover damage isn't justifiable. I really hope you would consider reviewing this as it is a very a beautiful place and my wife and I would love to spend $350 at your bar instead.
