Acclaimed Australian indie-dance trio Crooked Colours have released their first single of 2022, ‘Feel It’ further teasing the release of their third studio album following their critically acclaimed 2017 debut ‘Vera’, and their sophomore album ‘Langata’ released in 2019. The new single was written and produced by the Crooked Colours trio, Phil Slabber (vocals, guitar, production), Leon Debaughn (keys, production), and Liam Merrett-Park (drums), and is available now HERE.
Their much anticipated return to New Zealand in 2020 saw their Auckand show sell out within days of release. Unfortunately COVID had other plans, and would see the event rescheduled over 5 times, with tickets for the event onsale over 800+ days.
Now with things finally heading in the right direction, the wait is nearly over. This is a rare opportunity to catch a full length set from one of the best live acts coming out of Australia right now. Support act performance from Chores and Teto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for the concert of Joh Mayer. The bar is very cool and service is good, but the music outside was very depressing and boring.
Outside were a couple of food trucks (Maybe organised by Spark Arena) the one called Gorilla is a rip off and will never buy from them again. We paid $15 for a mushroom burger with 2 mushrooms, 1 slice of tomato, a bit of lettuce and lots of tomato sauce, and no meet whatsoever. The mushroom were not even tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dinning experience. Staff are well mannered and very accommodating. Food is tasty and great size portions. Had the Lamb Ragout and chicken and bacon burger. Lemon meringue pie for dessert. Restaurant decor could get a bit of upgrade maybe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really like it here. Staff are friendly and helpful. I love the easy access to the Arena. Good choice of snacks. Can recommend the pizza and the wedges. Nice space and I really like the welcome boards for the current concerts. Prices are reasonable and I also enjoy the outdoor sitting area. Havent been upstairs yet. It's a great place to go pre concerts and to meet up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to see the comedy standup show Fork N Funny, we were just coming off lockdown 2.5 at the time. The venue was spotless having just been cleaned and the staff were attentive. The only downside was the complicated ordering system for drinks and snacks through the venues app

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great venue to relax at before a show. As always, they had a special show menu and were well prepared. Fast and efficient service, the food was amazing and before you could even remember to take a photo it had gone down the hatch! I highly recommend the Tiramisu, was recommending it to others who were looking at dessert options once I had finished mine. The perfect start to a great night all round.
