Auckland Locksmith Services are the dedicated locksmith arm of Hardware Direct – Auckland’s specialist in providing both residential and commercial locking and security systems.
Founded in 1997, Hardware Direct has developed an enviable reputation as a leading provider of high-quality entrance, security and locking systems, with extensive experience with almost every industry in New Zealand.
We have, over the years, developed strong relationships with some of the industry’s leading suppliers, allowing us to provide our pick of the best range of locking, entrance and security systems available anywhere in the world. Our investment in technology means we can attend to most vehicle locks, keys and remotes without issue, providing our customers with fast and effective service when they need it most.
We’re proud to provide an active apprentice program, which currently has three apprentice positions in place. Hardware Direct has passed the requirements of the Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia and is a full business member. We are also a Lockwood licensed and approved agent.

β β β β β Had a Windsor french door lock that had never worked very well since we bought the house two years ago. Took the lock in for re-keying and the latch set for general service and fix/replace as required. Kelvin did the work and made suggestions what needed to be check with install. His guess that recess for the lock tongue was right on the money. The lockset has never worked better. Thankyou for your honesty and helpful natue, it is hugely appeciated.
