★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cinema as cinemas go. However the seats are not my favourite; drink holders are down by your knees with very little leg room. Given you have to sit in the for 2+ hours, I won’t be rushing back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful staff at the counter. Vaccine Pass & Safety measures in place and observed. Cinema wasn't busy at 11:30am, theater and seats clean and tidy. Thoroughly enjoyed the latest Spiderman movie with my kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While experiencing movies is satisfactory, this particular cinema as a whole is mediocre at best. Projection screens need to be cleaned and a budget on improved seating should be considered. After all, I'd pay less for a ticket in any other cinema for more leg room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to watch the movie Top Gun Maverick the other day with my daughter- it was the 3.30 session- the weather wasn’t that nice outside so thought going to the movies be great - spend time with my daughter & be nice & cosy watching a good movie but I was so wrong - as I couldn’t get to enjoy the movie as it was very cold in there - I think someone had played with the AC - it was warmer outside when we came out than in the theatre-
So to the staff at Hoyts Whangaparaoa please check the AC -

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable seating. Rather costly.Small cola and popcorn 32 dollars!!! Entry for 13 year old 16 dollars. Only 9 dollars tonight at another theatre.

Just suggestion. Screen 1 have a couple of black spots bigger than $2 coin I would say.

Pizza deal with 2 tickets is well worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you to the amazing young female barrister at the Circle Kitchen at Hoyts. I asked if they had Oat milk and she said they only had Soy and Almond but if I bring some Oat milk then she can make us our coffee. Luckily we had an unopened carton in the car and so I brought it in and she only charged me for the coffee shots even though we offered to pay full price. She said not to worry and only charged us for the coffee shots. Thank you so much for exceptional service, which is really hard to find theses days, plus coffee was great too!
