★ ★ ★ ★ ★ good milk tea but unacceptable service. Never got a smile or greeting from here. Changed my loyalty card from $7 to $6 with a marker pen after one purchase, without even telling me. I found out later and got quite grumpy, ofc not coz of the $1 change, but of the fact that nobody even told me about it or explained anything. Not coming back again. Not recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a Mango Tea with pearls. The lady on the phone said she would make it dairy free. We went to pick up after 15 mins. The order wasn't ready. After waiting for 10 further mins, we were given a Mango Milk tea. When we told her we don't want the milk and this was the wrong order, she said thats what the "dairy free" version was like! Definitely not going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality and flavour of bubble tea! $6-7 teas, toppings an additional $1. I appreciate the options to customise your sugar level, ice, etc. Stylish space but not very big so not as friendly to larger groups. Quick and polite service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Tai Ping, this store is open till late 10pm. Staff are Chinese, and they have moderate service. Drinks start at $6 and toppings are $1 each. Quality is good and speed is fast. I visited this store during the late night and it was full of the nightlife atmosphere. Would Recommend if you enjoy milk tea or similar beverages

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service - very patient and well-tempered! I ordered many times and the price is fair ! Coming from someone who is picky with boba tea and beverage choices, this particular branch (rosedale) is my go-to choice, even after adding extra pearls/boba/tapioca pearls, the price can still be cheaper than GongCha and other places, choose wisely people! ♥️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff. I used to order through Uber eats and had about 7 loyalty cards with one stamp each. Brought them in and asked to use them as a single card and got told no. Why? Seriously why? What sort of shop that sells 8$ drinks won't honour a normal loyalty system. Stick with momotea!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Updated review: I did not even remember giving Hulucat two stars, but I’m giving Hulucat today 5 stars. The tea! The tea! The tea! The tea is wonderful. The best tea I ever had in my whole entire bubble tea journey in Auckland. The service was great. Contactless. Love the app. On time. Instructions were followed correctly. The pearls were slightly hard but still chewy, however it still deserves a 5 star rating.
Note: Considering I have given 5 star rating to shops that doesn’t even deserve it, I’m giving Hulucat the 5 stars. However if it wasn’t for these shops, I probably would’ve been a bit more harsher. However the Tea! The tea! The tea! I’m in love. The aftertaste the aftertaste! The aftertaste??…this is so emotional lol ? ? ??. Thank you Hulucat! Definitely will come back to Hulucat. Hulucat has been well represented by Rosedale!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ll be honest, I probably go here at least once a week. 3 times out of 5 (hence the rating) it’s completely hassle free and a positive experience. But every now and then I have an incredibly frustrating experience and it’s finally pushed me to review. Sometimes the staff are incredibly rude, completely ignoring me for minutes at a time and often on their phones.
The phone thing wouldn’t bother me if they were quiet, but when I’ve just walked through the door and it takes them 5 minutes to even look up from their phones despite me having made noise it’s incredibly frustrating!!
Today, I waited 3 minutes to be served, and I took my reusable bubble tea cup in. Previously this has not been an issue. Today, the lady took the cup from me and then proceeded to take more than 10 minutes to get the drink to me… not in my cup??? So I asked her where my cup was and she looked very confused. Eventually I had to tell her SHE took the cup from my hand and she went and got it from the back. Why was it not used? Was it a flaw in communication?There should be an option on their system that says reusable cup so that this mistake isn’t made again, as that defeats the whole point of selling reusable cups anyway.
I also think there should be a way to get loyalty points through Uber eats etc as I think that’s rubbish that you can’t.
Overall, it’s usually really good. I totally rate every tea flavour I’ve tried (the chocolate slushy is my fav!), the best pearls I’ve had, and it’s reasonably priced all things considered but man the service is so often poor!
