★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived early on a very bitter cold wet day and we were greeted by a very rude & hostile hostess who sent us to the equally cold railway station to wait for 2hrs. Even tho house was lovely & warm once we were in I wouldn’t recommend it. Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy to find off the rail trail, we were greeted by the sheep in the back paddock.
The rooms are excellent, the bed incredibly comfy after a day of riding, the shower warm and the bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed a bbq dinner aqnd cheese plate which we pre-ordered. Sarah is incredibly hospitable and uses an honesty system to buy drinks and treats. We had a great breakfast the next morning as well.
Thank you for going above and beyond for us, we appreciated the loan of your car to visit ancestors graves at Swinburne cemetry, so thank you.

Hosts provided all we needed for a bbq dinner and we enjoyed that as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice house, clean and warm.. If you arrived early don't to the house. Because you are not welcome at all!! Even though you are so cold, wet and been biking for last few hrs with bad weather!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was wonderful and Sarah made us feel so welcome. Her food, which we had preordered was delicious and we had a lovely comfortable stay.
There is nothing in Hyde so either pre order or self cater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were just delighted with these little cottages - ours had two bedrooms, a dining room and a great big verandah with a barbecue. It was peaceful and private and right on the edge of the rail trail. Best of all was the welcome - cold beer and wine in the fridge, a lovely smile and hot potatoes to go with the delicious barbecue meal from Sarah the owner and the food was just fabulous and in very generous portions. She made us feel very spoiled. We loved the sparkling rooms and bathrooms too. A hidden gem.
