★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an amazing place to stay! From the moment of arrival, the beautiful forest-like garden really sets the scene for relaxation with a combination Redwood trees and lots of natives. Our unit was spacious, super cosy and warm, great amenities(Executive Room). Very close to Tongiriro River (direct access from the back of the complex) for lovely walks. The on-site cafe is also amazing, great coffee and food - wish they did dinner too! Special thanks to housekeeping - they do an exceptional job and we felt very well looked after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many positives. Tranquil, spacious, private, exceptionally clean, a home away from home, affordable, beautiful gardens, and they recycle!!!!
Close to the Tongariro river and walk way.
This would be one of my favourite places to stay in NZ, we look forward to our next visit.
Negative: if I post a good review I may not be able to get a booking when I next want to visit :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time we come to Turangi we stay at Creel Lodge. We just love the lockwood unit. The gardening here is very impressive and the price very reasonable. Before heading home we always have our brunch at the cafe in front of Creel Lodge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lodge is spotlessly clean and an absolute home away from home. Full size range with all kitchen necessities makes food prep easy. It's super quiet and the Tongariro river walkway is at the back gate. Cafe and tackle shop on site. Plenty of bbq's and sitting areas in the beautiful gardens. I'll always use this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks for our couple of stays at Creel Lodage recently it was among the best we have ever stayed in. Our rooms was extremely clean, warm and spacious. The added bonus of being surrounded by wonderfull gardens and a super quiet location makes this the ideal place to stay in Turangi. Easy river access for a fish or a nice evening walk.
