★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The occassion was a quiet birthday dinner. But it was also fate. I never usually go for eggplant but as a vegan sufferina I couldn't be too fussy anymore. I had one of the Roti canai options the charred eggplant with tamarind and satay sauce. Not only was it a good ratio/portion but the flavour was amazing. It was so good I had to tell the guy at the till that it was the best eggplant I had ever had in my life.
They didn't have a side of fries on the menu but I kindly asked and they arrived quickly with our cocktails with aioli and tomato sauce. YASS! My flatmate had the panko prawns with her espresso martini which she described was lovely at no fault.
We were not dissapointed. In fact when I come here again I know exactly what I will order. Or re-order in this case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful dinner at Kage - we tried the bbq Ribs, beer battered fries, chicken wings and spicy chicken bao buns and all were utterly delicious. The service was great and everything came out super fast - will definitely be back for more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time coming here and honestly I really enjoyed the food and drinks!! The atmosphere of this restaurant is really calming and their aesthetic and set up is really nice!
I drank the passion mango mocktail (yellow one) and it was 9/10. Not too sweet but just the right amount and was super refreshing to drink.
The pink drink was Strawberry Citrus. I would rate this a 7/10.
Next was the spicy chicken wings those were a 10/10 had a great kick of spice but enjoyed them.
Then we have the fried chicken in bao bun. I enjoyed these with all my heart ? the chicken was perfectly cooked and great size with 4 on a plate.
Lastly we have the fried prawn in the bao buns. These were also really nice. I think it was coated in the same thing as the fried chicken. Comes with 4 as well. It is super filling too.
Overall its worth the price and is definitely affordable for the amount you get! The food came really fast and this was around lunch time hours 11am-12pm.
I would highly recommend and definitely come back here to try more delicious food off their menu ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived just in opening and was super impressed with the coffee best mocha I have had in a long time.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and was also really impressed by the presentation and it was delicious.
Only meh thing I had to say about it was the floors could have done with a bit of a clean.
But food and coffee was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered hoisin pulled-pork steamed bun, wedges, Cajun fried chicken, and pork ribs, all to share. The food was great but the friend chicken had a thick and a little hard crust to our liking. We were not given side plates for the sharing plates and the cutlery in the tray were insufficient. Perhaps the staff could pay more attention to these as little things count towards the overall service. The seating was spacious. However, the environment was a bit dim due to the lighting. My recommendation when dining in with Kage will be to order some side salads as most meals are meat-heavy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here a few times now and each time is a fairly good experience. I had onion rings and they're probably best onion rings I've had, the coffee was pretty good too. Everyone was satisfied with their order and the server was nice. My only gripe would be their timing, onion rings came way before the other food and the drinks came out way before that. Meals should always be brought out within good time of each other.
