★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best KFC that we have ever been to. Brilliant service. Piping hot food. Very nice cold slaw and the chicken was fantastic. No burnt offerings at this place. Fantastic staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may be unfair to rate this place on one visit but was majorly disappointed .. used the kiosk to order only to be told afterwards that they had run out Wicked Wings.. the server at the counter said that they would substitute for normal chicken or give a refund.... I opted for the substitution ... but whilst waiting for the order to arrive, someone else who I can only assume was the shift manager said that they would not substitute chicken for wings as it was more expensive ?.... then , after thinking it couldn't get any worse I was told that they were not able to refund me that evening as when paying through the kiosk the system does not allow this ??? I paid through an eftpos machine, seemed to be the same as the ones at the counter??? Can't understand why . .. soooo.... then i am told that it could take up to seven days for the refund !! The only record they took was handwritten on a blank piece of paper , with scant details relating to me.. nothing to tie it to my transaction nor what I was supplied.. this visit to KFC Mount Maunganui has left a bad feeling in my gut and it's certainly not because of the food as I never received it ?
I know it's a fast food place but the premises where the food was being boxed up left room for improvement also.... sorry for the rant, I know we are turning into a world full of Karen's but sometimes we need to share our experiences whether great , average or in this case, far less than acceptable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking forward to my meal heading towards KFC, went to the closest branch, that being KFC in Mt Maunganui. But after ordering and receiving my much anticipated, much looked forward to meal, I was greatly dissatisfied, disappointed and most of all upset. The wicked wings were the opposite of wicked, they were awful. The chips sub par at best. I am sitting in my car crying and upset and contemplating life because my KFC was so horrible I do not think I’ll be coming back. Definitely not finger licking good.

They pour the drinks long before the food is ready so by the time you get your food the drinks are warm so we asked for fresh drinks which seemed like a hassle. How can you expect the staff to provide good customer service if the manager can't be bothered

Ordered a Zinger Box meal and they said they're out of Lettuce for the burger but could put a Hashbrown on instead, agreed to that but got home and the burger had a patty and a couple of blobs of some weird sauce. Not even the Mayo it should come with. Chips were old and yuck.
Went back to the store and complained to one of the workers. She then got the 'manager' which has to be one of the most rudest and unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. She refused to make the order again to an acceptable standard and said all she could do was give me a refund. I tried explaining to her that I had just waited nearly 45 mins for my food in the drive through and that it's wrong not to fix the error with the meal. When I raised my voice as she wasn't actually sorting the issue out she walked off and refused to deal with me.
Reading through the bad reviews on here I can see they need a serious wake up call and sort their shop out. There's always stuff not available, bad quality, poor customer service and unhelpful managers.
One of the worst KFCs we have been to!
