★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks for wonderful Kai Whakatane KFC and the awesome delivery service being offered during level 3 lockdown. Photo shown is just my meal but overall I order 2 other meals for my Whanau all were packed to how they should be.! I hope this awesome service stays around. Beneficial for our little town ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just come through Drive Thru.. ordered the Feast Bucket meal and a drink.. Not impressed with receiving Cold Chips, cold greasy chicken.. the only hot item was the potato n gravy.. What a disappointment and lack of standards of serving hot food to people.. This is a reflection on management at this store which is seriously lacking and shows in the food served..
We won’t visit here again.. Thankfully Papamoa KFC is in the region..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a chicken pack with coffee. Sat outside as the atmosphere is definitely abrasive to sociality. Staff wonderful. Chicken really tasty - coffee good too. They are very busy, yet still kept their cool as (large0 order after order was being processed. Premises seemed very clean. Good facilities for degreasing hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was good but very slow as There was a big group of young sport players so took about 45 min to 1 hour to get food but I think Whakatane has the best tasting food .. (I'm from Auckland) definitely go again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regret going here for my very rare 'takeaway'' treat. I explicitly asked for spicy chicken wings, but got ordinary chicken instead. The crust was thick, chewy and tasteless, nothing like it used to be. The chips were undercooked, soggy and had way too much salt. Pay to check your order before leaving, or better still, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere for your takeaway fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff but terrible service! We waited literally over an hour to get through the drive through! Once in the drive through we were stuck! There were cars queued on the road. You'd think they'd have planned for the extra trade over Easter weekend! Seriously, what were they thinking?? When we finally got the food it wasn't fresh, the chips were soggy and had no seasoning. Not a good experience. Not keen to go back. Extremely dissatisfied. ?
