β β β β β Spent ages trying to find the start of some of the walks but couldn't find them. Head to the Info Centre I thought. Explained my situation but they just advised me to buy a map (which is available as a free download on the www). The only advantage of this Info centre is that it is near some cool bars/restaurants and the people that work at those were able to help with directions/info. ?

β β β β β Tourist information center. Just in the town. Easy to find. You can book your tour in akaroa there like dolphin sightseeing etc.
You can get your stamps and any other souvenir near there.
Very lovely town. One of the must go places in new Zealand

β β β β β Ship to shore, at dock a tour bus around town all the sites, up to The Giants House need a couple of hours there. Love the town and lot of fun, very friendly people, found everyone so helpful....

β β β β β Great information site and souvenir shop. The lady that was there when we went was lovely, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend you pop in whether you're visiting Akaroa for a few hours or a few days. It's a great place to check out what's on offer and maybe grab a nice souvenir while you're there.
