★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conveniently located. Particularly impressed by the cleanness of facilities. Double bed in my standalone compartment is comfy. The major gripe is the lack of connection. No signal within the premises. Even the free wifi they offered is not working very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location for travellers to spend the nights on the lake. Lodges, tents, and parking lots are plenty and on the peak season are mostly fully booked. Shared showers and toilets are quite clean but on peak hours always busy and full, need to queue for a while. Shared kitchen is too small for many travellers especially in peak hours, also the air ventilation is poor. It's better to bring your own cooking stuffs than to use theirs. 2 fridges are available and you need to share with many other travellers. Other than these, this place is heaven, I love the tent very much, it's huge and the main bed is like king's size and very comfortable. There's electric heater inside the tent that you can use in case it's too cold. Very recommended for travellers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good place to stay, I must say that the photos are not doing justice to what we had. We slept 2 nights in a 3-bedroom chalet (shared) which was brand new and super clean. We were just in front of the lake and close to the Springs and main track. I would highly recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in the backpackers here, very nice place with a good view. Probably super nice in summer, my stay was in winter. Good showers, rooms and facilities. Very crowded laundry and kitchen, only one dryer in laundry (someone straight up took my stuff out of the dryer and put their stuff in during the time I payed for!) Not the backpackers fault though. My room only had one point of two power outlets for a 4 bed dorm. Overall nice atmosphere, maybe not so crowded if there isn't a fully loaded kiwi experience bus crew staying there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is completely automated & fully managed. The kitchen is clean and has every utensil possible. We loved our stay in a 4 bunk bed which was shared with our friends. Located just at the front of the lake.
Space of parking is available and the location is superb. I can come again to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms and facilities are nice. There needs to be more security at night and inspection by the property manager every one our at night. Has some security concerns. Apart from that it is a good place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a very comfortable stay. We initially booked for a twin room with shared facilities but they upgraded us to a fully equipped unit with views overlooking Lake Tekapo! It was so beautiful we extended our stay for another day!
The unit was very clean. The TV has cable channels; kitchen has a stovetop, microwave, utensils, pots and pans, plus a dining table for two, basically all you need.
You can easily go down the lake for a dip and come back to your room. Late at night you get a good view of the stars. Would definitely recommend you staying here.
Downside would probably be not getting privacy. Outside your room is like the main road where guests pass by.
