Nous ne sommes pourtant pas difficiles mais entre l’accueil glacial, les apéritifs servis après l’entree, le snobisme de la plupart des serveuses, même avec les enfants, le prix élevé des plats pour une prestation horrible, je vous conseille de fuir. Aucun intérêt.
 I only put one star because it’s impossible to put none but I would have done it. We are not difficult, however, but between the icy welcome, the aperitifs served after the entry, the snobbery of most of the waitresses, even with children, the high price of the dishes for a horrible service, I advise you to flee. No interest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the hotel may seem a bit rusty for some , I liked the way it is : full of traces of history and it takes you right back in time. The food was very delicious and prices were really reasonable . We sat outside and enjoyed the quiet garden view and evening breezes . The staff were very friendly and helpful . This is a hidden sanctuary away from the touristy retaurants and newly built hotels .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food at reasonable prices. Had dinner and breakfast here while staying at the Waitomo Caves Hotel. The restaurant and hotel could both use a renovation but the food and service were very good.
