β β β β β Stopped in at the cafe today for a break from driving and had the most delicious mocha made for me. The service was really friendly and the staff are all 'people' people. The cafe and deck were really inviting and they have Wifi! ha ha... Absolutely recommend the BIG Apple Cafe as a place to stop when you are travelling State Highway 3.

Updated Feb 2021 - Changed to 5 star, lovely ladies on the counter, yummy pies, great service all round will stop in again, thank you!

β β β β β Big Azz ice creams are the best ice cream I have had in years!!! Visited here while on holiday, and had to make sure we went back at least once before we left again. Grabbed some cool t-shirts also!

β β β β β Great place as a meeting place with travelers from Auckland, we travelled from Taranaki.
Our meals and the service that we received were excellent and courteous servers and waiters.great outdoor views.
