The Waitomo Caves Museum & i-SITE Visitor Information Centre, Post Centre and museum shop are currently open on Friday, Saturday & Sunday and public holidays, except Christmas Day.
Monday to Thursday – closed
Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 9 am to 4 pm
* Times may be subject to change throughout the year.
The Waitomo Education Service is open during normal school hours each school term and closed during public holidays, weekends and school holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great stop to get the history of the area. Waitomo is a fabulous place and well worth a visit.Some experiences cost quite a lot so be prepared BUT there are wonderful walks that cost you nothing.

The museum itself is informative and interactive which we loved.
