★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didnt realise but a pharmacy can charge what they like for an unfunded medicine. I was shocked when Life charged me 153 dollars for my medicine. That was leading me to the decision to no longer take the medicine. Now Ive found Chemist Warehouse in Glenn Innes sells the same thing for 86 dollars. Life Meadowbank i believe are incorrigible setting a price 77 percent more than Chemist Warehouse for the very same thing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to use this pharmacy all the time, now I drive 20 minutes out of my way to avoid it. Aweful experience on my last two visits.
Rude, judgemental pharmacists with absolutely no bedside manner or people skills.
Update! This pharmacy using my private information to phone my 70 year old mother to complain about this Google review. Completely unethical!! My mother was mortified. What they said was complete deformation of my character. If I could rate you a 0 I would.
I now get my prescriptions for FREE from friendlier, knowledgeable staff at My Chemist Warehouse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at Life Pharmacy Meadowbank are really kind and good at what they do. With the rise of Chemist Warehouse trying to kill our local owner run pharmacies with cheap products you just cannot compare that to local pharmacies who actually take the time to consult with you for free! And give you knowledgable advice. I would highly recommend this Pharmacy. I've been into this store multiple times recently and had scripts done. They always have time to answer questions, and follow up with doctors on a customers behalf. Chemist Warehouse instead makes you sort out these issues by yourself and does not check mistakes made by doctors. I really hope we can continue to get this level of care. If you are comparing your local pharmacy to Chemist Warehouse DON"T. You will end up without high level health professionals advocating for you and making sure your prescriptions are done correctly, they make sure you are informed on how to take your medicines correctly and safely. This is the most important thing and expert care costs money. Don't sacrifice what we have here in New Zealand for a cheap perfume and a massive corporation running at a loss so they can kill genuine gems of caring people like this amazing place. PLEASE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got rejected for a walk-in vaccination today despite Covid website says walk-in and no booking required. Not happy with their misleading advertising. The guy on the phone was very rude and wanted to hang up before I could finish the conversation. I then called a Newmarket pharmacy and they invited me to pop in for my booster straight away.
