Dr. Pervin Dalal has been my GP for 10-15 years, but over these many years, I haven't noticed any improvement in Eat Tamaki Healthcare business to ease patient's communication with either nurses or Dr. Pervin herself. If it happens that you need to talk to Dr. Dalal, you're required to contact their call centre to request them to send the message to her. Any time I tried this method, I ended up driving to medical centre to ask the question in person. It's become a very long drive since 2012 when I relocated to another part of the city. Dr. Pervin tried once to address the issue with their call centre, when I raised the problem with her, but she has too many patients to attend to, so wouldn't have any time left to fix business's systematic issues that needs higher level managerial attention. Unfortunately it seems to be East Tamaki Healthecare/Local Doctor business plan that is based on the quantity without paying enough attention to the quality of their customers' experiences.

One star is for the call centre. Been calling them almost every 3 weeks - month to book an appt. If I call at 8am, they don't pick up. If I call at 9am, the call automatically disconnect later. If I call at 10:10am, I'm told the doctor is fully booked out for the week, and get hung up on. One week I'm told they open at 9am, and to begin calling then, and the next week I'm told they open at 8am. There's no consistency whatsoever. Its been like this since Oct 2020 at least. Up until Sept 2020, it was fine, was able to book an appt easily. But now its near impossible. Been to other locations but don't find them helpful as Dr Dalal is my GP. The receptionist isn't great either. Unless you ask them about what's happening with your appt, they don't inform you and keep you waiting. Dr Dalal however is great. She kindly listens to you and has empathy towards your problems.

Zero star rating. Appointments can only be made on Thursdays through the call centre (I've been calling for the last 3 weeks, disconnected if not answered). Appointments are not taken in the clinic, only via call centre. Even if successful, appointments are made for the following week. So if you urgently need to see a doctor don't bother with this clinic. Besides the difficulty of getting an appointment, Dr Pervin Dalal is an amazing doctor. She is compassionate towards her patients and has picked up certain medical issues that my previous doctors failed to, and I am grateful to her. Hence why I continue to call each week to make an appointment. ETHC/Local Docs please improve your process at this clinic or move Dr Pervin to a clinic that allows walk-in appointments.

Had booked an appointment with a doctor. But all the appointments are never on time. I feel like they should just remove appointments as an option. I was told by one of the receptionist that there are delays all the time. So if there’s going to be delays all the time. Maybe they shouldn’t do any appointments. As much as people go here. You should only go if you are willing to wait for hours and hours. If you do go don’t bother asking “how long till the doctor sees me” After all the meaning of appointment is “an arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place.”

I sat in your waiting room for nearly 2hr waiting for a Dr.....there was only me and another patient. I dont understand why it took so long absolutely rubbish service

Very poorly managed appointments there . We have been booked for an appointment it's been canceled without any notification and hasn't been rebooked for few weeks . They have advised to call next week for rebooting the appointment for further week . It's been more than three weeks we were not able to see doctor .

Call centre staff not even listening and understanding. I called last Thursday for telephonic appointment she booked it 1.45 pm Monday 17jan22. I double check its telephonic she said yes. My partner waited one hour for doctors call. No one call . When i called them today i talked to lady she was so rude over the phone not even understanding what i was saying? And saying to me am rude with her. All the girls doing very poor job in call centre. And than not giving their name if asked because she know i will make complaints. You should value your clients. You are there ro answer our call. Please its request to manager check call centre recording i called up between 9 to 9:30 am today how your staff dealing with patient. Very poor service really donot want to go there but only going for Dr. Parvin dalad shes is only and only awesome doctor you have.

Dr Pervin Dalal is excellent and knowledgeable. I like her advice, and she finds the root causes very well. The centre has a big issue with timing and scheduling patients. I took my son there in time and had to wait for almost an hour to visit the doctor. It's not a child-friendly environment. Making an appointment is another headache and hard to book with the current telephony system.
