★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got the Bomer burger with chips and gravy . The chips were delicious! Unfortunately the burger was not amazing. The bun was slightly stale and the chicken was tough , so found it hard to take a bite without the whole fillet coming out .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its the best fried chicken burger I've found so far. Comes in a brioche bun, with a really well balanced sauce, and the chicken is actually seasoned well! So points for that! Liked it more than Soul Shacks. The wait was only 5 mins when I went too. I'm picky with fried chicken too so definitely reccomend this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had many times as we were staying in the hotel nearby. Delicious each time. The spices in the coating of the chicken was very unique and separates itself from other fired chicken places. The special sauce is so good, I prefer getting it on the side of the poppers so you can dip it after every bite. The bomber burger is pretty much perfect with fluffy brioche buns.
My only gripe is perhaps the gravy. It's not meat gravy and is a little strange when comparing it to a real gravy. As a sauce though it's quite delicious and sticks to the crinkle cut fries really well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give it 6 stars if I could. Takeaways don’t get any better than Lucky. The Bomber is the best burger I have had in Wellington, and there are some top notch burger joints in the capital. A must-try if you are visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the BEST chicken sandwich in wellington. Me and my friends eat here 2 or 3 times at week. I'm from the States and I thought Chick-fil-A was great until I tried lucky's???, definitely my to go place every time.
In the picture -my favorite- the Jackpot with gravy fries, if you like cheese this one is for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got the bomber burger, the wait time was about 10-15 minutes. The chicken was delicious, perfect middle of juicy and crunchy, not too greasy either. Slaw was good but would be nice if there was a bit more. Sauce and pickles both suited the burger, but the only downside was the bun in my opinion. It was nice but had a bit of a weird fluffy texture. Overall 7/10 would recommend.
