★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful if you have food allergens or things you need to avoid - the manager and staff don't know what their ingredients are made of. Weren't able to confirm if their mayo used raw egg, and didn't really care to help us get it removed from the order. Chicken burger wasn't great, super greasy and had a weird texture (like biting into paper). Take a pass and go to Lucky or Soul Shack or Winner Winner instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt like I was drinking oil. Ordered the boneless wings meal. The ratio of coating to chicken was so bad. 1/3 chicken, rest was coating, also I had like 5 pieces of fried coating only, no chicken inside at all. Even fried chicken was very tough/hard to chew.It was so oily, I could fry another batch of chicken if I squeezed out the oil. Even the salad was do blunt in taste. For me it was the worst I have had in the past 6 months

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, merry Christmas everyone. We were feeling clucky with this for supper, but were diaspointed with the boneless thigh. More deep fried coating than actual chicken, I'd prefer it had the bone and the chicken. The tots were not too bad. Have never liked slaw, feels like a 90s hangover that never fully recovered. The staff were very cool. If they tweaked things, add the bone back and replace the slaw with a 2020s salad option, this could be finger licking good. But for now, will stick with the original.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The batter is average due to the off-site preparation and freezing of produce for transport. The product can't be higher than 4 stars for this reason alone. Nashville it definitely is not, the Korean sauce is good, it's good they only focus on these two types. Extra sauces are well balanced and I actually quite like the taste of these offerings. Sometimes the cook of the chicken ends up at the over done side, but this place isn't about making great chicken. It's about nailing a good product more times than not at a larger scale then their competition (hence the offsite preparation, they're basically not doing much in the container unit except getting it crispy).
This is a good delivery option, the actual difference between eating outside and eating at home is low. If you're looking for the street food angle then check out luckys or Soul Shack. Mostly cause it's so heavy on the sauce it doesn't matter that much about the chicken so letting it travel isn't that impactful to the end product so long as it's luke warm when it arrives.
However, I need to minus 1 star for Wellington hospitality group ownership (or Kapura if you're trying to kiwi-fi the British business influences) which is a budding corporation that's attempting to build a monopoly in the NZ hospitality sector while delivering a heavily subsidised offering until they have the market share they need. They now have this so the prices have gone up, I suspect it will go up further but not for a year.
So, I'm not against it, and for $9.50 per portion it is alright for the price, slightly more than it's competitors but you get way more batter. A big thank you to all the other WHG business for propping this up price point as this place isn't good enough to sustain it itself. I rewrote this review after 6 months of it being at $6 for the same portion. I am not aware of them using free range chicken but will check.
Go here if Soul Shack is closed as it's better chicken than Luckys for this price.
Edit: Price has increased to $9.50, which closer to the correct price, have edited my recommendations to match.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tater tots are to die for.
Unfortunately the chicken (was it chicken?) was rock solid and I couldn't find any slaw.
Nice bun for the burger and a good drinks selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nashville chicken thighs were delicious and crispy with a good crunchy batter to chicken ratio. The wings are also very good with a solid crunch to them. The pickle slaw is a definite miss because despite its name, it contained no pickles and was essentially just big chunks of red and green cabbage with little to no flavour. If you like spicy crunchy chicken id say check this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite disappointed.
I got the Nashville style burger, the chicken thigh was crispy - but a tad over crispy, similar to biting down on small rocks in some places.
You can also tell that the chicken has been pre-made/pre-frozen offsite before cooking, does not taste fresh unlike other places such as soul shack, lucky and heartbreaker where it's made and cooked fresh then and there.
The 'American' cheese is like the plastic/fake cheese you buy from the supermarket.
Overall, I would recommend going to the other places I mentioned above instead - they're quite a few steps above in taste and quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nashville chicken burger was nice however the chicken in the Nashville chook box was really bland (wish the chicken had a bit more spice/seasoning) and couldn't taste the siracha in the miso siracha mayo. Don't know what the Korean fried chicken is like but overall I found this place to be very mediocre in terms of taste. Quite disappointing.
