WELCOME TO THE MASTERTON CLUB
Our Club is regarded as Masterton’s premier members’ club, providing a warm inviting atmosphere for a diverse group of men and women in the heart of Masterton. Our Club offers a unique environment to both our members and guests, with our historic building showcasing an atmosphere of timeless elegance and history.
We welcome new members.
Our Club was established in 1877 as a Gentlemen’s Club and its facilities on this site then included both accommodation and stables. Today the Club is well used by its members and also a range of Service clubs and other organisations, which hire our facilities.
Today the Club features:
A charming 1903 heritage building
A magnificent, kauri wood-panelled entrance hall
A grand four-table snooker room with featured timber ceiling
A spacious lounge bar with open fire, leading to a roomy, sunny outside deck
Two inter-connecting function rooms, serviced by the professional kitchen and two bars.
Individual conference rooms
Ample on-site parking
Lively and dedicated staff
We invite you to inspect our wonderful building at 98 Chapel Street, and inspect our facilities. Our staff are keen to support organisations or individuals with functions and events. Our catering staff can also cater for functions off-site, and welcome enquiries.

The function we attended was in a private room and was well managed. Thought the finger food was a little below par; ok in terms of quality, but not very imaginative

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parked motorhome out the back , stayed 2nights. Left motorhome parked up and walked around for 2days . Handy to Laundromat, vet and things of interest . Restaurant at the club open Wednesday night, $69 main , desert and bottle of wine for 2 not bad , ( set menu).Staff more than willing to help . Massive snooker room. The whole club had high quality and plenty of charisma.
