★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in labour and told to sit in the waiting area. Sat there in pain having contractions for almost an hour before they finally had me taken to a room to be examined. Was my first time at this hospital so not a very good first impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my wife had the best birthing experience at Middlemore birthing unit. Thanks to all lovely midwives who were monitoring my wife 24-hour round. The birthing suite was awesome. All midwives were lovely and friendly. The aftercare was great. I would like to thank all the maternity and birthing staff for the amazing care.
