They always run late. If you're working you'll need to book out over an hour of your time for most appointments despite only being 10mins long. You'll need to ensure you keep on top of your notes and previous conversations with obstetricians as you will be required to repeat yourself at every appointment with any obstetrician you haven't yet met. The obstetricians often contradict each other which can be stressful when you've been given one set of feedback and the next expert advises something totally different. I provided thorough feedback to the team regarding my care and received no response or acknowledgment. Overall I would use again but I would lower my expectations of individualised care.

I've had two babies through Shore Birth, both times the experience was excellent. I found all staff to be friendly and professional and they kept me calm during two complicated pregnancies. Highly recommend!

I went to Shore Women for help investigating my fertility and have been left incredibly frustrated and defeated from my experience there. After spending hundreds of dollars on ultrasound and specialist fees to begin my treatment with Shore Women, I was shocked to discover I had to take charge of my own treatment and follow-up on all blood tests and question plans for my treatment (as no follow-up was provided). I received sporadic communication from the medical team regarding lab test results, waited weeks for communication from the doctor, and was given conflicting advice and information regarding my treatment from the nurses and doctor. It seems there is absolutely zero protocol in place for reporting lab results and communication between the staff and clients is extremely poor. I've been informed via voicemail to start taking a different medication (for off-license use - wasn't informed) that I've had no medical advice about, or explanation as to what it will do to me. On top of all this, the receptionist is not open to hearing negative feed-back about customer experience (she shouted loudly at me on the phone "EXCUSE ME!" as I was trying to explain how frustrated and anxious I was about my fertility and the lack of guidance from the medical team), nor does she show any empathy or sensitivity or offer any sort of apology for poor communication from the team at Shore Women. You can see from other reviews this is not an isolated incident and she has behaved in a very unwelcoming manner on more than one occasion. Interestingly, after posting this review there seems to have been a couple of glowing reviews posted by persons who appear to have conflicting interests in doing so. All in all a very emotional experience and I wouldn't recommend Shore Women.

Hands down the best service and care I could have received when pregnant with our baby. I will definitely be coming back here when we have another baby. Bronagh and Judy - the midwives - are SO lovely and caring and the obstetricians are just so so good at what they do. Dr Vijay Bhoola is everything I could have wished for in an OB delivering my first baby. He was calm, encouraging, empathetic and genuine from the first appointment to when I was pushing. I cannot fault any of the experience at all and could not recommend the team at Shore Birth more highly! Awesome to have Sonelle on-site for scans too!

Have always had the best experience at Shore Women. At each visit, I am always greeted nicely by the reception staff and made to feel welcome. I have dealt with a few of their doctors and have had wonderful experiences with all. Marlene the nurse is absolutely lovely to deal with. Thank you to the team for looking after me so well :)

These specialists at Shore Birth are good for simple, normal pregnancies if you have medical conditions and require more complex care you are better off through the public system which is totally free. Anything that involves extra care, timing of drugs is too complex for them and they treat you as a "difficult patient". I found this very incompetent compared to overseas specialists clinics which I've used. After chatting with 1 of my friends who had to transfer her care halfway through pregnancy from shorebirth elsewhere I've realized I wasn't the only one. Few times I got offensive and ironical comments from 1 of the specialist that was involved with my pregnancy. Very unprofessional. Also contradicting opinions from who you see next it's a "normal" thing for this clinic. If I didn't spotted my low iron myself ( of course after requesting copies myself) no one ever informed me about anything or advise anything!!! I had to constantly check every detail myself! The scanning equipment the obstetricians use it's very outdated compared to most European countries who keep up to latest equipment available. If you haven't seen what private care is on offer overseas then I guess you will be satisfied with this so called "private care" that has "rented" delivery room in public hospital. In my opinion this is far from private care as you end up for birth in the same public hospital where you could of get the same care ( or even better) for FREE. Only difference is that you have met the obstetrician prior. That's about it. Only positives was receptionist and midwives Bronagh and Judy, who are very professional and caring and Kerry who radiates warmth, real manners and politeness. Overall I will NOT recommend and NOT use again.
