I took my computer in to Millennium to have all files and programmes transferred onto my new computer. Expecting a few tweeks might be needed when starting to use my new computer - but no - the new computer ran perfectly! Everything worked just like the old one, right down to my printer! Our computer was running very slow and it was so frustrating. Millennium listened to our problem and was able to fix our computer. It's running better than ever before. We asked them to put in a new drive - called Solid State, which we brought off them and it's the best thing. Very happy customer. We will be back if we need technical help with our computer again. Friendly staff and helpful....

I went to milenium with a CPU cooling issue, which had happened before. The fan was slightly rubbing on the chassis, I gave specific instruction as to what the problem. Which was completely unexplored and ignored, they told me the fan needs replacing which I had to pre pay $130 worth of labour and $130 for the fan which was ordered. This took 5 days. 3 days later, the fan started working again. 2 months later i finally received an email saying it had arrived, I'm right in the middle of university now and cannot have my laptop gone for 5 days. So if you want to be charged 130 dollars for a 30 minute job and 130 dollars for a 20 dollar fan you don't even need. Use millennium Tech. BEWARE. Check your quotes, these guys will rip you off. UPDATE: Over a week since the manager responded, pre payment of labour has not been refunded, even though I had to drive to the store and give my bank details. No phone call (no my phone is not inaccessible) and no email. Three weeks, no reply. I have had to again chase them up. 300 dollars down, three trips to the store and literally nothing to show for it. Finally after months, Hours of my own time, 30km of driving, no follow up call or email what so ever. I was refunded 30 mins labour - Nothing for the misdiagnosis, No apology not even a sentence of recognition. Strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. They may get it right sometimes, but when they get it wrong, it will cost you dearly.

I took my laptop in because of liquid damage. It had an error regarding not having a bootable disc when I fired up the computer. The technician told me that the computer cannot be repaired and the best option is data recovery and that they can dispose of the computer for me. I opted for the recovery of the disk but instructed that the computer to be returned to me. They proceeded to undertake disc recovery and told me that it will take 24 hours. The next day I received a message that the disc is in bad shape and so the data recovery will take longer. I got a call when the data recovery was completed to pick up the, computer and new external back up drive. When I picked up the computer the technician told me that he is looking for the disc cover of my lap top which the other technician misplaced. I asked him if he can just ask the technician but he replied that he only works part time. Once I paid the bill I asked if he can tape around the disc to protect it which he did. He told me that he will call me once the disc cover has been found. I then fired up the computer and it went well and appeared to have nothing wrong with it. There are a couple of issues I have here. One is that they gave me incorrect information that the computer cannot be repaired when in fact there was nothing wrong with it. Upon research I found out that ACER has an issue with β€œβ€¦no bootable disc error” and that one option is to report the disc. That is unplug the disc and put it back in. The technician should have known this because they actually sell this brand of laptop. The second issue I have is that they gave me conflicting information and were willing to have me dispose off a perfectly working laptop. If I had accepted them to dispose of my PC they would have destroyed a perfectly good computer and made me unnecessarily pay for a new one. I asked what did the technician find wrong with the original drive. He replied that it’s worn out and will eventually fail but he does not really know because the technician who had worked on the computer did not write any notes. I do have a computer science degree and might know a thing or two about computers so to be told that I was somewhat shocked. In summary I found the staff at Millennium to give conflicting and incorrect information. They appeared disorganized and appeared chaotic at best. My recommendation is ensure that you take your PC or laptop to a few repair firms before taking any advice from them.

Took in laptop that I thought they would struggle to fix. Kept in loop with options to try and fix hinge. job exceeded my expectations & price was great.

Very happy with the service we received from the Alex and the team at Millennium Technology. When our iMac failed on the Friday before a long weekend we were expecting major problems. Millennium were excellent to deal with even though we turned up as they were closing for the day. Our beloved Mac is now running better than ever and the bill was very reasonable!
