β β β β β The poorest retail customer service in Hamilton.
I was in there last week where they had make shift tape stream lines leading to a central counter and you were drafted through like animals. I have not seen this in any retail store under the same COVID conditions. What I was after I decided it was less stressful to buy else where online. Just no idea when it comes to customer service.
Just as a matter of interest, reading other poorer reviews there seems to be a generic cut and paste reply from the store. Service starts at the top, and it seems the branch manager doesn't really care much about improving customer service either especially considering all the notifications he has had so improvements can be made.
This is the generic reply,
"Really sorry to hear about the poor service you received at Hamilton. I will pass your feedback on to the branch manager so improvements can be made.

β β β β β Absolutely disappointed with the service of pb tech, brought a TV from them, from when i got it home had nothing but issues with it, i put up with it for 5months and eventually the TV was barely usable.
I returned it and have had no contact from them as to the situation with it. Constantly get disconnected from ques after 30minutes when calling through to the service team, sent multiple emails with no reply, until finally got through to the store manager who told me he would follow-up and let me know the outcome by end of business that day... now days later and Still haven't heard back
I am now having to look into a application through to small claims court to try and get my money back as after the hours I've put in trying to get a result it seems like my only option

β β β β β Plenty of carparking, car park does have huuuge pothole on exit so be very careful of that. Counter customer service needs improving, shop floor customer service was unexpectedly good considering shop is huge, i still managed to be helped on the floor while the store was very busy, staff that assisted me ensured to find out what my needs were to ensure product suited. The layout of the queue area could done differently, we had 2 queues for 1 service assistant. Overall i planned a quick stop and it was just.

β β β β β Best tech store. They may need hire more staffs because it is very hard to find a staff to give you ideas of the products. After that, please improve your display area more professional. the currently display is just poor and looks like a rural dairy shop.

β β β β β There are many other shops I would go to first - their signs aren't clear about what areas are closed off and the guy at the counter tried to sell me the first thing that was closest to him instead of looking in the back for the item I asked for that was same price and better quality - too busy being on his phone.
If anything, you're better off shopping online as you can't browse through anything anyway and you're at the mercy of whoever is at the counter to have your best interest in mind.

β β β β β The products may very well be good, but you have to work hard to get to them. The service here is awful. I've never seen a retail team less willing to sell things. They stand around and watch you while they yarn. I've had this happen twice before but assumed it was COVID related and they were keeping their distance. Now it's just blatant lack of customer service skills

β β β β β One star is too generous, I have regularly experienced a lack of available staff to assist me, after you wait quite some time to speak with staff they aren't very helpful and often don't have items in stock. Failed repairs in the repair area of the shop have also cost me to re-repair and although error was acknowledged by the repair staff no reduction in re-repair cost was provided to remedy their error. Too many bad experiences here, won't be shopping again.

Had a little trouble with the TV and subsequent communications, so took it back and it was checked over by the team in Hamilton. They're great, very hard working. I appreciate they could see us straight away with our return number.
