★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entrance directs you to a private business that is a tourist shop with kai and coffee etc then charges you to walk down the stairs to the beach to view the boulders. If you take the road that is public and next to the shop access road, you can access the beach at no charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public parking which is about a 10min stroll from the boulders. Make sure you go at low tide or as the tide is going out. There is also parking at the cafe but they ask you to pay a $2 donation to use their path down to the beach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must to visit.. make your visit around half or low tide for a nice flat beach and time to appreciate the boulders and great views of Moeraki to the South and Wainakarua and cape Wanbrow headlands /Oamaru to the north.
