★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Madam sunset Restaurant did not provide a restaurant experience - and they have restaurant in the name so would expect so!
We arrived on time and was followed to our table where we were dumped with no drinks menu or food menu. There was plenty of staff around but nobody paid us any attention. After 10 minutes I managed to get hold of a girl and asked for menus. I received a drinks menu and we managed to order a 2 cocktails. However, these never arrived. I went next door to ask if we could be seated at Master Kong as there was no service at Madame Sunset. Unfortunately they were full, but promised we would get service at Madam Sunset. The guy there said he would even service us ourselves. Back at the table we waited another 30 minutes but nobody paid us any attention. the place wasn't at capacity and there was in my judgement sufficient staff around, they just didn't notice us. After about 50 minutes we left the place at which time the girl noticed us and asked if we were leaving and we could only confirm that we couldn't just sit around. 50 minutes and hadn't even got a drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool place with funky decor just really let down by how loud the music was. The music was great for the setting but it was so, so loud! Apparently the staff weren’t able to turn it down because only the manager had access. That manager should have been onsite, called to provide the password or come to do it himself as we were not the only ones who complained. It really ruined our evening. We ate as quickly as possible just so we could leave. Left with a headache.

The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and great value for money and the cocktails are awesome, most include some form of fancy fire or trick. We were able to book last minute and really enjoyed our time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the family out for an early birthday celebration, the guy on duty was amazing and added to a great evening. We all went for the burger and weren't disappointed, one of the biggest and tasiest burgers I've had, and came with real fire!! The theatre of the night was really good, with flaming cocktails, volcanic desserts, and awesome service. Thanks for an all round awesome night and great dining experience.
2022 update :( visited 9th Jan and what a dissapointing visit, one main came out and after 10 mins was informed they had run out if the other main, a burger, and they only have 1 burger on the menu!! So embarrassed as had raved about our last time, but they just couldn't meet that night, wasn't busy either, they just seemed to struggle :( could be so good just really missed this time ? waitress was really good, feel like she was let down by the whole experience.
