★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely superb dining experience one evening brought my wife and I back for breakfast the next morning. Both meals and service from delightful staff left such a wonderfully indelible memory upon us, we just hope we can return this winter to relive it all again. Thank you everyone at Nexus Bar & Kitchen...you should be very proud of yourselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really can't wait to go back - quite seriously! My elderly Aunt lives in Kaka Point and wanted to take me there. I've lived all over the world - I have missed the kiwi way of life - the cafe, the staff, the menu choice, the food and the genuine desire to provide truly kind and friendly service was all there - and the view, stunning. There's nowhere else at KP that even rates a star. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem , great place, interesting selection of yummy food on the menu and cool background music . Oh forgot the beers from Catlins Brewery. Good selection , " Amy Bock " was my favourite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great dining experience! A beautiful dining room with beautiful food. The chicken burger was a highlight. If we weren’t going on a tramp I would’ve bought one of the candles and some hot sauce. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From walking in the door to the food to the view, everything was fantastic. Soo much soo we went back for breakfast. It was incredible to see a restaurant in a small town in the middle of nowhere offer such great food. If your in Kaka Point you have to eat here. For me personally the fact that I went to school there 45 years ago was an added bonus. To stand in the old school it was off I had been transported back in time. Highly recommended.
