★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place for lunch with my south Island family...we arrived 5mins to spare b4 they closed..was given the star treatment and food was delicious..there was a 90th BD party in the next room..how they managed to serve us all reasonably quick was no small feat..the staff are fabulous thank you for the experience ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying in the Headmasters House on the Port Molyneux School is fabulous. Stunning views of the beach from the bedrooms and a wonderful view of the gardens and llama’s from the living/dining room. Great nights sleep in sublime bedrooms that feel luxurious. Would recommend this as a place for anyone to stay. The school is an excellent events venue and is perfect for weddings with great service and astonishing views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect place to plan your South Island New Zealand elopement! It has such a romantic seaside atmosphere- with beautifully restored wooden floors and a clean minimalist feel. The garden courtyard area has many native plants, and sleek wooden benches with a chic modern feel with sweet nautical details like paua shells and glass lanterns. As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend this space. The garden courtyard is perfect for an intimate ceremony with the ocean view just across the road. Each of the indoor rooms feel light and spacious with big picture windows, that would also be another wonderful space for a wedding ceremony. Jade McNab the owner has styled it with the perfect balance of vintage charm and modern minimalism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot recommend The Port Molyneux School highly enough. A beautiful venue right by the sea with it's own lovely accommodation.
Their biggest asset is the incredible, thoughtful people behind the scenes who made everything so easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
We are so unbelievably glad we chose The Port Molyneux School for our wedding, if you do the same you definitely won't regret it!
