We first came together as a handful of people who all loved good design — but who couldn't understand why it had to be synonymous with big prices. So we set out to change things.
We launched our first nood stores in New Zealand in 2007. Since then we have expanded our stores but we still remain a tight, dedicated and passionate team operating out of Christchurch. Our team is continuously sourcing new products from around the world that we believe will complement the New Zealand lifestyle no matter what your style or budget.
We pride ourselves on offering a unique range of on-trend products that span furniture, kitchen & dining, bed & bath, homewares, giftware, and much more, to help coordinate and create the home you desire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Noguchi glass top table from Nood which arrived with scratches on the glass top. Contacted the store and went through the process and waited for a replacement. Eventually a replacement glass top came from Mainfreight, except Mainfreight refused to take the damaged one away. They couldn't have cared less, said they had no pick-up ticket so they just left.
Mainfreight unacceptable job planning and communication on your end.
Nood was quick to sort out, but it was a huge inconvenience.
