New Objects of Desire, or nood as we like to call it, offers today’s consumers a unique range of products under one roof. Life is full of desires, and at nood we like to think that we can help to make those desires become a reality. From our replica furniture to our on-trend homewares and quirky giftware, nood can offer you just about anything you desire to complete your home.
We first came together as a handful of people who all loved good design — but who couldn't understand why it had to be synonymous with big prices. So we set out to change things.
We launched our first nood stores in New Zealand in 2007. Since then we have expanded our stores but we still remain a tight, dedicated and passionate team operating out of Christchurch. Our team is continuously sourcing new products from around the world that we believe will complement the New Zealand lifestyle no matter what your style or budget.
We pride ourselves on offering a unique range of on-trend products that span furniture, kitchen & dining, bed & bath, homewares, giftware, and much more, to help coordinate and create the home you desire.

Offered a refund of $50 for delivery cost. Awesome friendly staff great products unsatisfactory stock picking / delivery service.

When you have promised to get back to your customer, you must honor your word. I have been waited over 3 weeks now for response and have nothing but bad experience from this store.

Not a busy time but waited more than 12 minutes just for paying for few scans and pay items only 1 customer ahead of me and the customer walk away and saying good luck.
