★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm glad there's some bad reviews by ignorant people. This is a spot mostly untouched by human habitation, nothing much for us humans here, and it's better off for it. It's also the real northernmost tip of New Zealand. If you want a more showy tourist spot go to Cape Reinga, where the two oceans meet, the famous signpost, etc.
