β β β β β After having local food for 10 days. We are craving for Chinese food. We manage to try this restaurant visited by many Chinese living in Christchurch. It is Hongkong style food.
Pickled duck wings.
Steam blue cod fish.
Ginger and spring onion Venison hot plate.
Crispy skin Peking duck.
Steamed oyster with vermicelli.
All cooked to perfection and taste like food eaten in Hongkong.

β β β β β 15/4/18 - We were regulars here but I gotta say the quality of food has been very Inconsistent lately. Siu Mai was over steamed makes it hard and tough and dry, lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice was under cooked.. The rice was still hard.., their beef tendons were undercooked... They were hard and tough to eat.
Update came here today (8/5/18), their food was yummier. But the glutinous rice lotus leaf was still a bit understeamed (hard). Service was slow (took 20mins for food to come out) but at least it was yummy

β β β β β Good yum cha for lunch. Have been to north and south for many years. Always has delicious dim sum at lunch time. Egg tart is always fresh and hot. Prawn dumplings and duck dumplings are delicious. Deep fried squid is also very nice. Egg plant and tofu with black bean source are my favorite too. Highly recommend for lunch.

β β β β β My cuz & I had yum cha lunch at North & South, after a couple years of avoiding it due to below par yum cha food. We were very pleased with what we received - har gau, sui mai, cheong fun, pai gut, pork & coriander dumplings. The star of our meal was hum soy gok! Crisp on the outside, delicious pastry & enough tasty filling.

β β β β β Not a busy night there at all. Very large dinning area. Now for the food well that was not as pleasing as it looked. Because I have eaten this food from other places it was not the same unfortunately.

β β β β β Went to this place tonight waited for over an hour for our two mains to arrive asked the waiter he seemed to have not ordered it,I counted 24 people served before us who had arrived after us the food was disappointing to say the least chewy prawns served on broccoli. Beef hotpot minus much beef granddaughters meal was chicken served on soya sauce with broccoli what a over priced underwhelming dinner,they seem too serve Asian customers first,

β β β β β As a Cantonese, I am so glad to find this restaurant. Food is so good and authentic. Taste like home.Much better than Maxim. Good service! Awesome place for Yun Cha. The Cantonese roasted duck and Peking Duck is perfect.

β β β β β I had the hot and sour soup a week ago but tonight I tried the crispy roast pork on rice I bought extra food as I thought the meal would be small I was definitely wrong the pieces of pork were big, juicy and chunky. Tasty, fresh... a good amount of veggies served with it. The hot and sour soup was better this time and had lots of different things in it. And the dumplings have a good amount of filling and flavour and are served hot and fresh. My only down point is the rice was cold and the waiter asked me to pay before I ate. Otherwise yum.. definitely have it again. Oh and I thought the pork might have been served with red sauce... but still yummy.
