★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this campground, bathrooms were clean, the camp ground manager was super friendly and helpful with info. The views are amazing and I could not recommend this campground more, I just wish we could've stayed longer as we were only here a night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short drive off the main road through lovely Bush and you come to a beautiful spot right by the beach. Great facilities, showers, toilets, place for washing dishes etc. Great for bigger motor homes as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ground are quite basic and the amenities are well maintained. Good WiFi. My stay wasn't restricted by early closing of facilities as in so many other similar camps. Very reasonably priced (unpowered site). I ended up staying for three days. The managers/ owners are very helpful, approachable and check in with campers from time to time, without being intrusive. Overall, I would highly recommend this camp site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great wee spot. Tidy, clean basic facilities and friendly host campers. Make sure you take the coastal walk, hilly but worth the effort to return via the beach. Must do the kayaking trip as well...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has changed so much for the better now that it is being managed by the locals. It's always been a great spot for camping (just a few steps away from the beach) but now the facilities are great... good cooking area, an inside eating area if you need it and even a fridge you can use (which was particularly helpful for us as our caravans fridge decided to stop working when we arrived).
Oh, and there's also free WiFi now :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my stay at Okarito campground! The campground hosts were super helpful and welcoming. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and well kept. $15/Night includes free wifi. $2 hot showers. A lovely community with local kiwi tours and kayak tours. Just across from the start of Okarito trig walk which offers views of the lagoon and on a clear day Mt Cook and Franz Josef Glacier!
