★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting from the states .had a great 3 weeks visiting hobby stores around your beautiful country untill I got to this place .
Couldn't find the shop owner as he was out the back .didn't seem to know anything and was darn rude. Awfull service . Overpriced and understocked

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to give this place a go. Sadly all the bad reviews on here are right .dusty faded $2 shop stock at Smith & Caughey prices. Guy was out Tha back on a computer when he finally came out (as I was leaving , ) he had no hobby knowledge at all ...told me nobody makes models of Mosquito fighter /bombers ...HA funny how all the Auckland hobby and toy shops had plenty !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large shop with a wide variety of model and hobby supplies, The owner is happy to order in things that are not in stock with fast shipping. Best of all this shop has a selection on new old stock Tamiya parts, although it's not all on the shelf don't be afraid to ask for those hard to find vintage parts, also a good selection of second hand items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called into the One Stop Model and Hobby shop the other day. Loved looking at the various models and depending on what you are looking for model wise and your degree of construction capabilities, I would think there is a project to be found in this shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped into the shop to buy a couple of Tamiya paints. Owner is nice but the price of the paint is almost 1/3 the price more than I have purchased from other hobby stores. $7 from one Stop compared to $4.80 from Bay Hobby.
