Bruce and Dianne are amazing, really awesome service and always willing to go the extra mile. I have stayed here both with mates and as part of my job as a Geo teacher and highly recomend Pipers Lodge to everyone.

Bruce and Dianne were amazing hosts who made us feel like at home. The on-site spa was the cherry on top that help sooth the sore muscles after doing the Tongariro crossing. Would love to come back again.

Excellent response on email/text, comfortable, clean lodging, Hot Spa Pools, good food, good location. We did the Tongariro Crossing and they organized the shuttle for us and were willing to make last minute changes if needed should the weather not work out (lucky for us - it turned around and we had a great hike). I highly recommend this lodge. The owners were absolutely wonderful! Thank you for a great stay!
H	Hazel Ryan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with two friends and found the whole experience 10/10: warm, friendly welcome even when arriving late in evening, clean rooms and facilities, cosy fire at night in common area, well-stocked bar, hot tubs to relax in, very efficient drying room that was useful when we got soaked doing a walk. The owner-operators and other staff were always available and helpful when we needed anything, but also let us just chill and enjoy, making it feel truly like a home away from home. The ensuite room with huge storage space (big enough to get changed in!) was perfect for our group. Extremely reasonable rates too. A real gem. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks for hosting us on this memorable weekend away.
R	Ranya Lal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was terrible, received hair in my food not once but 3x and got sick by their food, rooms look clean and some are but their blanket pillows and so on are dirty with hair and dirt in them, you pay so much money to stay with such bad service and the wifi cost money for such less data , what rubbish

Great location, very close to happy valley. Delicious dinner on site!! Hot tubs were a great bonus and are drained and cleaned daily!! My son said he wants to come back to stay here for his birthday...so hopefully we'll be back in October!! Also the staff are super friendly and helpful...Highly recommend this place!!
