β β β β β Nice and relaxing, beautiful location and great boat accommodated all 10 of us. Since there are limited spaces it's better to book in advance. There are paid street parking all around but could be crowded with all the tourist around.

β β β β β Beautiful peaceful river ride up into the Christchurch Botanic Gardens for 20 minutes. The punt host was dressed for the part & entertaining. See various species of ducks and trees. River is clear and banks are picturesque.

β β β β β My husband and I booked in a private punt earlier this month to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My goodness me, what a delightful experience! I think our punter was called Theo and he was absolutely lovely. It was a smooth ride and the information he provided as we glided along was quite interesting. On the whole it was such a relaxing experience and I was so excited to see so many birds on our trip along the river. I would recommend it as a way to see another side of Christchurch.

β β β β β It's a nice experience to do in Christchurch. If u have kids they will love to touch water and watching all the ducks swim by I will definitely recommend it. My punting driver was nice and I enjoyed our discussions.
If u don't have kids I will still recommend it. The view and feel is romantic.
