★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a 2bdroom apartment. The size was great but it was beyond cold. There was one tiny wall panel heater in the lounge for the whole space, which did absolutely nothing unless you were standing against it. We couldn’t find the electric blankets as they were tucked away with no cords visible, but there were no standalone heaters for the bedrooms. Very disappointing to be so freezing, we were literally wearing coats indoors. The only redeeming feature was the water pressure and temp in shower was good so able to warm up in the morning. Luckily we were only there for one night.
A tired old place that could do with some love. Lots of plastered holes in the wall, threadbare carpet, no ventilation in the bathroom. No question of how our stay was upon checking out, it would have been nice if the staff asked.
Overall quite disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This does not even deserve a star! Initially their Covid Policy would not permit any change to the booking and given that the prices were EXTREME due to WOW the cost was about $700.00 per night.
For that the apartment had:
* No working heater.
* Curtains that had come adrift from their rods and were hanging off
of the hooks.
* Holes in the carpet.
* Stained and filthy furniture.
* Gib holes on the walls in at least two occasions.
* Hunks out of the skirting boards.
* The bench top was marked and chipped.
* Burn marks on the tables.
* No servicing on Sunday and even when the apartments were *
serviced, the dishes weren't done.
And the final straw was during the middle of the night the contents of the rangehood fell out.
For the price, this was absolutely disgraceful and i have stayed in better equipped student flats.
IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greeted by reception, quick but thorough intro, studio room was lovely and clean, sofa needs a steam clean, kit kitchen with fridge freezer and everything, separate bedroom with two queen beds, bathroom had a washing machine and dryer (a bonus)... Had a partial view of the water but it was in walking distance, in the heart of the CBD and close to the bus stop to catch 002 to the Airport

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much noise! Doors slamming, music through the walls, people coming in up to 1am and their voices and doors slamming amplified. No air con so room hot and stuffy. Room OK but because of the noise we will never stay their again. Never had so much noise in accommodation before. The complimentary ear plugs placed by the bedside was a hint to what was to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (my wife and I) stayed on a Saturday night. Great location being within walking distance of Te papa, the board walk, Courtney place and the general CBD.
They offer you a parking package for $33 for 24 hours use of a nearby parking building...parking on the street is $1 per hour between 8am-8pm, outside that (overnight) is free.
Has everything you expect from a quest apartment, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and hot plates but NO air-conditioning/heatpump. So could be very hot during summer (we were there during winter). There was a small panel heater that looked as though it had been used alot with burn marks up the wall behind it.
The room we stayed in was clean and tidy but very well used with patched holes in the door and walls, a draw that fell out of the vanity if you pulled it out and paint chipping on every corner.
In general, this is a well located place to lay your head but definitely needs some TLC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First 4 star establishment I’ve been to that doesn’t have aircon. Rooms are extremely hot during the night and the amount of road noise is unbearable. Stayed here for 3 nights and would wake up at least 4 times a night due to rubbish trucks and other vehicles passing by. I wouldnt recommend anyone who is staying here who wants a good nights sleep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the cheap price, the room was pretty decent, cosy and warm, clean and tidy and comfy, reception was lovely, overall had a great stay, everything is in walking distance so it's in a perfect location, I would probably come back again to be honest :)
