โ โ โ โ โ Quinovic Riccarton 10 Point Promise achieved 3 out 10 on our property management too. Perhaps growing to fast to retain clients and maintain professional service. A trend we have noticed, Tessa can bring in the clients. Retention is a problem for them. Never seen a management refund either, smooth talkers Quinoic Riccarton. We like pm's that walk the talk and stand behind their services. Definatley a lot behind mental rental theme.

Has a poor attention to basic rental property management. Poor pre and post tenancy inspections, to being mostly tenant focus and leaving landlords going mental with their rental. Quinovic Property management propaganda, they publish their expertise but really lacking. Jan 2015 to Oct 2018, a 3 year history with them and over 12months of doing our best by them. Only to see they were only interested in their own profit growth line. Beware, shop around, better deals are available for same price with better client bases, and more sound businesses are available. Quinovic was recommended to us by a refferal, do your independent checks first.

โ โ โ โ โ Unfortunately my experience of the assistance given by Quinovic Management with looking after my rental property was not the best experience. They came highly recommended to me too. I made sure my rental home was in it's best possible condition for new people to live in and while the Quinovic team were great at photographing and listing property and selecting tenants I felt the handover process at the end was the bit that really ruined it for me. I had my home returned with a cleaning bill that I had to cover half of, some 15-20 green wheelie bins of lawn and weeds to discard over the next 8 weeks as tenant hadnt done it, three plastered holes in master bedroom that were deemed 'accidental' by the tribunal and therefore I must cover cost of (I've never made a hole at a rental, let alone leave it for landlord to be billed for it), an infestation of fleas in the new carpet that could not be seen at final inspection but upon our first weekend back in the home we were bitten relentlessly and this continued for months until they were eradicated. I arrived to no water pressure and found the water mains burst out the back and the area flooded and hidden by overgrown weeds, had been that way for some time but not picked up at any of the inspections. New kitchen had the bench top lifting up from being left so wet it had swollen, pantry door hanging off, three door handles broken and two of the doors had been slammed so hard it has split the wood surround on both of them (neighbors confirmed alot of screaming and fights were one would hold one side of the door and not let the other one in and they would both pull on it, this would explain that type of damage made), gate had also been wrenched of its hinge from being slammed too hard the wrong way. Vanity in bathroom was smashed and repaired but this was covered by my insurance and repaired earlier in the year and was due to a legitimate accident by the tenant. All up I recovered $100 and that was towards some cleaning. I have spent alot in repairing my home. I did not have much in the way of time or money to do this so it has been a slow process and one whereby i deeply regret ever renting it out in the first place. I have never left a home in anything less than beaut condition. I forgot that others do not operate in the same way and may not respect your hard earned investment. It was the determining factor for hiring a management company so that I could feel confident the home was in good hands. I have given two stars, and the redeeming star was because I found both Tessa and Johno pleasant to deal with, and my home did not have rent arrears like some of the other Quinovic customers here.

โ โ โ โ โ We have used the team at Quinovic Riccarton to manage our rental property. They have made the process so easy initially coming to rescue to help us evict the bad tenants we signed up. Then getting us the best tenant ever! I would highly recommend the team for managing your property!

โ โ โ โ โ I have used there service twice in the last 2 1/2 years. Being honest I have found Tessa and her team very good to deal with until I was assigned a new property manager Robert Delahunty. I have found this manager untrue to his word, he doesn't look after the landlord and he will not give a dam when it comes to handing your property back to you once the tenancy has finished. The company itself is fairly good just watch who you get as your property manager.

โ โ โ โ โ Tessa and her team at Quinovic Riccarton came highly recommended to us by mortgage broker Paul Townsend. Initially we were really happy with the service. A year on and both properties have been to the tenancy tribunal. One tenant sub-leased the property to others who smoked in the house and it subsequently returned a positive reading for meth. Tenant was behind in rent and Quinovic guarantee to cover rent if the tenant does not pay. Well Quinovic never covered and I was out of pocket for months. The homes were returned full of fleas and with damage to walls and carpets and in general poor shape given how great they looked when they were entrusted in Quinovics care. Very disappointed.
If you have a rental property I recommend you look elsewhere for a team who will actually care for your investement.
