★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partner had a really nice french toast which was good, had the salmon and hash brown eggs bene which was really dissapointing, salmon and hollandaise had unpleasant tastes and hash cakes were not nice either- couldn't eat more than about 3 bites. The server took it back and asked why and I explained why-. Was really surprised to be offered no refund or exchange by anyone - I didn't ask for one myself which I probably should have but thought it would be courteous for someone to come out and offer something. May have been a new server :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service. My partner loved her hotcakes with mascarpone and caramalised banana and I had a nice coffee. The eggs bene was nice and had a generous amount of bacon on it (as in, the amount of bacon you SHOULD have on eggs bene) but it was DROWNED in hollandaise sauce.
When you put hollandaise over eggs bene, you can just get about a tablespoon of sauce per egg and pour it over the top from the spoon. This was like the hollandaise had been poured out of a glass. That said, after removing a lot of the sauce the meal was still delicious and we left full and happy. Next time just a bit less hollandaise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop over when traveling, esp when cold and wet as there is good food selection. Were given a generous helping of delicious pumpkin soup and large pieces of soft sourdough bread toast + very drinkable coffee.
